For our expansion in Europe, we are hiring a experienced sales representative for Spain.

Purpose of the function:

The key objective of this position is to be a frontline sales representative to lead the sales and market access, actively work with retailers and growers. Actively participate in the definition of the product portfolio and deliver the approved business plan and maximizing the value of DVA products.

Position Details:

  • Manage the sales aspect of our operation in the major regions of the country
  • Develop product penetration strategies in the business area aligning them in the territories according to regional /global strategies and optimizing use of resources
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Find and enlist new distributors/dealers to ensure market coverage while maintaining strong relationships with distributors/dealers. Also, train and support them to grow in sales and service capability
  • Travel to distributors/dealers/farmers/grower/institutions/lobby groups and events is required and varies by territory
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identify new streams for revenue growth
  • Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
  • Promote best practices, foster innovation, and creativity within the business area
  • Understand and promote enterprise business strategies that support long term vision for the company

Required skills:

  • Ability to handle multiple strategies on a timely basis and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfort with managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
  • Independence to work effectively without regular supervision
  • A high degree of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and abstract reasoning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication/ listening skills to work effectively and coordinate actions within a global team
  • Team player with a strong work ethic, detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Clear and organized communication style and document maintenance

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Agriculture and knowledge of Agronomics
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the industry
  • Successfully led teams and business development strategies whilst holding regional responsibilities for at least 4 years
  • Proficiency in local language and English will be a plus
  • Coordination in multi geographic organization
